Villa Rosa—The Dream
Villa Rosa Restaurant is the longtime dream of owners Frank and Rosa Rappa, who moved to the Piedmont Triad from Sicily, via New York. Since the early 1970’s, they have operated the area’s only authentic Italian Restaurant, Sal’s.
Though Sal’s has been a consistent success, Frank wanted a classier place that would reflect the special menu and his attention to detail. Named after his wife, Rosa, the new restaurant exhibits bright colors, romantic old-world architecture, authentic Italian paintings, and cascading water fountains.
Frank’s plans also called for large portions, like a typical Italian household. But, preparing these portions would keep Frank busy in the kitchen. One ingredient was needed—someone to run the restaurant.
For starters, everything is authentically Italian, the appetizers, entrees, and desserts. Meals are “prepared to order,” in generous portions, including 10 oz. glasses of wine from Italy, California, Australia, and North Carolina. Appetizers include Toasted Cheese Ravioli, Shrimp Rosina, and Mussels Marinara. ‘Delicious’ doesn’t begin to describe them.
Pasta entrees include Fettuccini Alfredo, Lasagna, Manicotti, Baked Ziti, and Spaghetti among others. Frank’s phenomenal sauces adorn these and other such dishes as Chicken and Veal Parmesan, Tortellini Romano, Calamari Fra Diavolo, Tilapia Alla Rosa, and Seafood Pescatore. They’re all uniquely Villa Rosa. Uniquely flavorful!
Not Exactly Average
Grill specials such as Chicken in Gratella, Salmon Alla Rosa, and Steak Marsala aren’t exactly “average” either. And the pizza? Maybe the best you’ll ever have. Really! (Come see for yourself!)
Award winning food, atmosphere, service, and exceptional pricing—all Villa
